Membership Information

Applicant

We encourage all OMSs practicing in California to become a member of CALAOMS. Use the link below to create your online Applicant account and fill in the CALAOMS Membership application. Once complete your application will go through the approval process, and a CALAOMS staff member will keep you apprised each step of the way. - Please do not apply for membership as an Applicant unless you have completed your OMS Residency.

  • Access to the Classified career portal, an employment resource accessible through the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons website that provides assistance in purchasing or selling a practice, finding an associate to join your practice, and personal employment opportunities
  • Access to a website that allows members to be informed of upcoming events, Standing Rules, Bylaws, Membership and other timely information

Resident

We encourage all dentist currently in a California OMS Residency program to become a Resident Member of CALAOMS for free, with no dues while you are a resident.  Use the link below to create your online Resident account and fill in the CALAOMS Resident Membership application.  You will be notified once your application has been approved. - Current OMS Residents only.

Benefits of Resident Membership

  • Resident Members do not have to pay dues.
  • Resident Members may attend many CALAOMS meetings at no charge or at a reduced charge.
  • Resident Members who apply for regular CALAOMS membership after completing their residency do not pay the $250 application fee.
  • Resident Members qualify for a reduced dues structure for regular CALAOMS membership in their first three years of regular membership.
